Highlighting iconic sites that have disappeared

Since 2016, Raymond Biesinger has invested body and soul in researching and illustrating the lost architecture of Canada and the United States. In addition to his bestselling book on the Canadian drawing contingent, distributed by the University of Toronto Press, he also created thirty-two striking prints capturing the remarkable structures gone, ravaged by flames, demolished or otherwise erased from memory collective of the two nations. Among these works, the 14 Canadian prints entitled "Lost Buildings of Canada" highlight the lost emblematic sites of the country's largest cities. In this series, Montreal is in the spotlight.
