    Hoptimist

It all starts with a simple and powerful belief: most smiles are triggered by another smile. It was this idea that Gustav Ehrenreich sought to embody in the late 1960s when he created the Hoptimist movement, with the ambition of designing a figurine that would daily remind people of the importance of staying positive and optimistic. In a decade marked by profound upheavals despite its joyful appearances, Ehrenreich's mischievous and benevolent design provided exactly what the world needed: a little lightness, a lot of good cheer.

The first two figurines born from this vision are named Bimble and Bumble. She, with her dress and laughing eyes. He, attentive and recognizable by the little stick on his head. Together, they lay the foundations for a universe built on round and harmonious shapes, cheerful colors, and an expressiveness that immediately touches people, regardless of age or language.

Today, Hoptimists are part of Danish design history and continue to spread their joy around the world. Available in many colors, materials, and sizes, they find their place in every interior and for all occasions. The range made from FSC® certified oak demonstrates a sincere commitment to natural and responsible materials, without sacrificing elegance or character. Each piece, with its unique grain and knots, is a living object that gracefully endures through time.
