A contemporary reinterpretation of the classic mirror, blending contrast and character
Rooted in the familiarity of the classic vanity mirror, this model reinterprets tradition through contrast and proportion. Clean lines meet expressive detail, giving the mirror a strong personality rather than just a functional role. Designed to sit confidently on a table, vanity, or shelf, it reflects much more than a face: it embodies a design vision that prioritizes character over convention.
A creative universe with bold colors and studio-inspired finishes
Teun Zwets does not design with restraint, and that is precisely why this collaboration with HKliving came to be. His approach is raw and unfiltered: bold colors, intentional glossy finishes, and materials that look like they came straight out of the studio. There is no ego in this work, but a true attitude. Together, the designer and the brand have pushed furniture and objects into new territory, where each piece no longer just fits in: it commands presence, like a character rather than a static object.
A construction of wood, plywood, and glass for indoor use
Made of sungkai wood, combined with a bit of plywood and glass for the mirror itself, this model is not designed for outdoor use and is not water-resistant, so it must be installed indoors, away from moisture. As with any handcrafted solid wood piece, slight variations in appearance may occur from one item to another, contributing to the unique character of each object.
Two colors for the Teun Zwets x HKliving mirror
This vanity mirror is available in two colors. The Petrol color features a deep and sophisticated duck-blue shade for an atmosphere that is both bold and elegant. The Candy color, on the other hand, opts for a softer, zestier hue, adding a touch of freshness and pep to the vanity or shelf where it is placed.
To be paired with other creations from the collection
A true object of character, this mirror by Teun Zwets naturally finds its place in a bedroom, a walk-in closet, or a bathroom where you want to make a strong design statement. It pairs easily with other pieces from the collection, such as the chair, the mantel clock, or the tray, to create a bold and decidedly personal decorative universe.
