A collection of wall lights designed by Marcantonio for Seletti
Italian designer Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba continues his poetic exploration of the animal world with a series of wall-mounted chameleons that are as fascinating as they are quirky. Created for Seletti , this resin wall light perfectly reproduces the texture and iconic postures of these enigmatic reptiles. Deceptively realistic, these chameleons appear to have been frozen in mid-exploration of your home.
Sculptural reptiles holding a light bulb like treasure
Each delicately holds an LED bulb (included), wrapped in its tail, as if it had seized light itself. Playing with the contrast between their wild appearance and their utilitarian function, these lamps disturb, amuse, and question—it's impossible to remain indifferent to their presence.
Creations that question our connection to nature
Far from blending into the background, the chameleon here becomes a powerful symbol of the connection between nature and design. Through these creations, Marcantonio explores themes as profound as the coexistence of man and nature, art as a language, and design as a playground. The result: sculptural objects that are both dreamlike and expressive, straddling the line between function and emotion.
