A historical shape reinterpreted with a contemporary, expressive spirit
Discover the amphora vase, imagined by Teun Zwets for HKliving, an object that carries a long design history while displaying a look that is resolutely forward-looking. Its playful proportions and slightly eccentric presence provide a subtle nod to Dutch design—curious, confident, and slightly offbeat. Anchored in a shape that has spanned the centuries, this vase reappears today as a resolutely contemporary, expressive, and sculptural object, ready to flourish in modern interiors.
A creative universe with bold colors and studio-inspired finishes
Teun Zwets does not design with restraint, and that is precisely why the collaboration with HKliving came to be. His approach is raw and unfiltered: bold colors, assertive glossy finishes, and materials that look like they came straight out of the studio. There is no ego in this work, but a real attitude. Together, the designer and the brand have pushed furniture and objects into new territory, where each piece no longer just fits in: it asserts its presence, like a character rather than a simple static object.
A unique artisanal piece designed exclusively for interior decoration
Made of sungkai wood, this vase is designed exclusively for decorative purposes: it is not intended to hold water, is not water-resistant, and is not suitable for outdoor use. As with any artisanal piece made of solid wood, slight variations in appearance may occur from one item to another, contributing to the unique character of each object.
A soft yet bold lilac hue to add a touch of color to your home
With its lilac color, a shade that is both soft and bold, this amphora vase brings an unexpected and sophisticated touch of color to any decorative composition. Placed on the floor, on a sideboard, or on a low shelf, it stands out as a true sculptural piece in its own right.
An object of character for a bold decor
A true object of character, this amphora vase by Teun Zwets naturally finds its place in a living room, entryway, or office where you want to assert a strong identity. It pairs easily with other pieces from the collaboration, such as the chair, the table mirror, or the clock, to create a bold and resolutely personal decorative universe.
