A sculptural and original reinterpretation of the classic mantel clock
Discover the clock imagined by Teun Zwets for HKliving, a contemporary reinterpretation of the timeless classic mantel clock. Contrasting shapes and proportions are intentionally juxtaposed in this design, creating a visual tension that sharpens its character. Familiar in its function, yet unexpected in its form, this clock naturally finds its place on a mantel, a sideboard, in an open bookcase, or on a floating wall shelf. An object that plays with time, not just by measuring it, but by rethinking how we choose to display it.
Expressive shapes and bold finishes inspired by the workshop universe
Teun Zwets does not design with restraint, and that is precisely why this collaboration with HKliving came to be. His approach is raw and unfiltered: bold colors, assertive glossy finishes, and materials that look like they came straight from the workshop. There is no ego in this work, but a real attitude. Together, designer and brand have pushed furniture and objects into new territory, where each piece no longer just fits in: it commands its presence, like a character more than a simple static object.
A solid sungkai wood clock
Made of solid sungkai wood, this clock operates on a 1.5 V AA battery, not included, and is not designed for outdoor use. As with any handcrafted piece made from solid wood, slight variations in appearance may occur from one item to another, contributing to the unique character of each piece.
Two colors for the Teun Zwets x HKliving clock
This clock is available in two colors. The Khaki color develops a deep, earthy olive green hue, for an ambiance that is both understated and bold. The Seafoam color, meanwhile, offers a fresher shade, between sea-green and pale blue, bringing a bright and calming touch to the room.
Combine with other creations from the Teun Zwets collection
