The molded plywood seat and backrest offer surprising comfort despite the absence of padding, while being supported by a solid wood structure that guarantees lasting strength. The cabinet-making expertise is evident in every detail, with traditional mortise and tenon joints reinforced by cross dowels, a technique that combines robustness and visual refinement. This chair required numerous prototypes and full-scale trials before achieving its final proportions, with the upward curve of the seat enhancing both comfort and structural integrity at its junction with the rear leg.
