A silhouette designed to subtly complement sofas and armchairs

The Swole end table by Blu Dot embodies the sculptural codes of the collection in a more compact and mobile version, designed to accompany daily life with discreet elegance. Its design strikes a subtle balance between organic softness and architectural precision.

A balance between graphic stability and visual lightness in space

The slightly asymmetrical top, with softened edges, seems to float above a central base made of powder-coated steel. This perfectly stable circular base visually anchors the object to the floor, while the cylindrical column adds a sober and graphic verticality. The offset silhouette of the top allows the table to naturally slide alongside a sofa, armchair, or chaise longue, offering a practical surface without cluttering the space.

Contrasting finishes that adapt to different interior styles

The contrast between solid wood and metal is at the heart of its identity. Depending on the chosen finishes—warm walnut combined with a black base, or light ash accompanied by a white base—the Swole adopts a different personality, ranging from subdued modernism to a brighter, minimalist presence.

A practical surface that highlights natural grain and contemporary uses

Its solid wood top withstands daily use while showcasing the material's natural grain. The subtly refined edges reinforce the sense of visual lightness despite the overall solidity. As a side table, reading stand, or impromptu small workspace, it easily adapts to contemporary lifestyles.

An easy-to-move table that harmoniously integrates with all seating

Felt pads placed under the base protect floors and facilitate movement, allowing the table to be repositioned effortlessly as needed. Available in two heights, the Swole can accompany deep, low sofas as well as higher seating, always with the same proportional accuracy.

Combining business with pleasure

At Blu Dot, the philosophy is clear: design is not just about aesthetics. It must, above all, adapt to today's lifestyles and work environments, offering solutions that are creative, functional, and intuitive. Each creation aims to improve everyday life—to make it more fluid, more enjoyable, more seamless.

With this in mind, each piece designed by Blu Dot is designed to last, with a true personality and purpose. The goal? To offer useful, durable objects capable of providing pleasure day after day, year after year.

Blu Dot

Homemade

True to its artisanal and collaborative approach, Blu Dot designs all of its products in-house. Everything is created in-house, from the first sketches to the finished product. Their team of designers works hand in hand in the Minneapolis workshop, passionately exploring each step of the process: sketches, mock-ups, material testing, prototypes, packaging… nothing is left to chance. Each project becomes a collective adventure, fueled by exchange, experimentation, and attention to detail.

About Blu Dot

Since its inception, Blu Dot has pursued the same ambition: to make good design accessible to as many people as possible. A simple, yet powerful idea—one that has guided the company for over twenty years.

What the founders perhaps didn't anticipate is that so many years later, they'd still be there, in their Minneapolis studio, imagining objects that are beautiful, useful, and designed for everyday life. The difference today? The team has grown, it's enriched with passionate talent... and the workbench has seriously grown.
