A powder-coated steel frame makes the structure a central decorative element

Some end tables are discreet. The Strut side table by Blu Dot, however, owns its presence. Its powder-coated steel frame boasts an architectural presence that instantly transforms any room corner. Here, the structure is not merely functional; it is the design.

Harmonious material contrast for contemporary and industrial interiors

The wood top offers a surface that is both elegant and durable. The contrast between the asserted robustness of the metal and the lacquered softness of the wood creates a rare visual balance, suitable for both a contemporary living room and an industrial-style bedroom.

Integrated protective glides to preserve floors daily

Screwed-on protective glides under the base preserve your floors daily, and BIFMA certification attests to a durability designed to last, even in high-use environments. A table designed for the home, but built to withstand much more.

Easy installation with included hardware and functional design

Available in this slate color, the Strut integrates naturally into a minimalist composition as well as a more assertive interior. Minimal assembly is required: the base attaches to the top with the included hardware in minutes.

Features of the Strut Side Table by Blu Dot

Strut

A signature, a dozen ways to embrace it

Blu Dot’s Strut collection features the same architectural design, with its framed, angular legs, across several pieces for every space. Dining tables come in various sizes, available in colorful lacquered finishes and wood versions. The collection also includes a high table, consoles, side tables, several coffee tables, including models for outdoor use, and a large garden table.

They are just as suitable for dining as they are for working: the collection is designed to provide a large work surface, a dining area or, according to Blu Dot, a space for dancing. The color options are equally varied for the lacquered versions, while the wood versions come in white oak or walnut. This allows you to choose a bold, vibrant piece or a more subdued ensemble.

Strut

A solid architecture, built to last

Strut tables combine a reconstituted wood top with a powder-coated steel base, creating a sculptural silhouette while providing stable, robust support. In the lacquered versions, the top features a glossy, mirror-effect polyurethane finish that resists warping over time. Durable glides protect the floor and make moving the tables easier.

The pieces are BIFMA certified, a standard that attests to their strength: they offer the quality expected at home with the durability required for professional spaces.

About Blu Dot

Since its inception, Blu Dot has pursued the same ambition: to make good design accessible to as many people as possible. A simple yet powerful idea—one that has guided the company for more than twenty years.

What the founders may not have anticipated was that all these years later, they would still be there, in their Minneapolis studio, imagining objects that are beautiful, useful, and designed for everyday life. The difference today? The team has grown, enriched by passionate talent… and the workbench, for its part, has grown considerably longer.
