Tables with Attitude.
Some tables stand on four legs. And then there’s Strut.
With its instantly recognizable diagonal base, Blu Dot’s Strut collection turns structure into a design feature. Lines cross, angles make a statement, and the tops almost seem to float above all that confident geometry. Dining table, bar-height table, coffee table, or side table: Strut brings the same idea to a variety of formats.
Everything You Need to Know About the Strut Collection
Strut is a collection of Blu Dot tables recognized for its diagonal base and bold geometric lines. It includes dining tables in different sizes, bar-height tables, coffee tables, and side tables, as well as models designed for outdoor use.
Strut’s signature comes primarily from its diagonal support structure. Rather than hiding the base beneath the tabletop, Blu Dot turns it into a visual feature. This geometry gives the table its architectural character while maintaining a relatively light silhouette.
It depends on the size. The 56-inch Strut table comfortably seats four. The 75-inch version is designed to seat six and can accommodate up to eight, while the 90-inch table comfortably seats eight and can accommodate up to ten depending on the arrangement.
Classic Strut models feature an engineered wood top with a polyurethane lacquer finish and offer more opportunities to play with colour. Strut Wood versions maintain the collection’s signature geometry while adding the warmth and natural visual character of wood.
Yes. Blu Dot offers an outdoor version of the Strut dining table as well as outdoor coffee tables. The outdoor dining table is made from aluminum with a finish suited to outdoor use while maintaining the graphic base that defines the collection.
Yes. Its different lengths and generous tabletop make Strut a great option as a worktable or meeting table, particularly in spaces where you want to avoid the look of a traditional office desk. The right size will depend on the available space and how many people need to work around it.
