Carved from a single block, with a singular intention and material, it rests on two solid teak blocks that support a long, thick top, together forming a silhouette of absolute sobriety. No visible assembly, no ornamentation: just the quiet strength of wood worked with honesty and precision.
Living wood with deep grains and warm textures that evolve with light
It is the teak itself that tells the essential story. Each piece is unique, marked by its deep grains, knots, and variations in hue that draw the eye from golden blond to warm brown, through darker and denser shades. These imperfections are not flaws: they are the signature of the material, proof of its authenticity. The surface, slightly granular to the touch, captures light differently depending on the angle and time of day, offering a subtle and changing spectacle. The teak used is recycled, which adds an extra story to each piece, that of wood that has already lived and continues to reveal itself.

Placed on the floor along a wall, under a large abstract painting, or at the foot of a bed, the Block naturally asserts itself as an anchored and structuring element.
