A versatile plate, ideal for desserts, appetizers, tapas, cheese, and small portions
We often forget it, but the small plate is the one that gets used the most. For morning toast, cheese after the main course, fruit cut up at the end of the meal, or tapas passed around at aperitif. The Chef dessert plate by HKliving takes this role seriously. With its 7.9"/20 cm diameter, it is just the right size for an appetizer, a single salad, a slice of cake, or a few bites to share, without ever looking bulky on the table.
Reactive glaze with matte and glossy nuances, available in several elegant colors
At first glance, you notice its surface. Each plate bears the mark of being handmade: blending hues, small specks of color, glossy areas next to matte ones, and a slightly irregular edge reminiscent of pottery. No two are exactly alike, and that is what makes stacks of plates so pleasant to look at. Several colors are available: a comforting cream; a deep, nuanced blue; a soft pink with warm undertones; a nature-inspired mousse; a Mediterranean-inspired burnt orange; a neutral, versatile light blue; and a speckled green.
Colors to mix or match with the dinner plates in the Chef Ceramics collection
This variety invites you to play. You can create a harmonious table by choosing a single color, or mix several shades so that each guest has their own plate and their own little story. Placed on a dinner plate from the same collection, it forms an elegant duo for a full meal. On its own, it becomes a lovely tray for nuts, cookies, or a sugar bowl next to the coffee.
Durable tableware that is dishwasher and microwave safe for everyday use
Behind this artisanal look lies real sturdiness. The plate is made of hotel-quality porcelain, which is more resistant than ordinary ceramic, and can withstand everyday use and entertaining. It is food-safe and can go in the dishwasher and microwave. To keep the glaze looking its best, simply avoid abrasive products.
