What truly distinguishes the Pioneer is the care taken with its doors and hardware. The handles, made of burnished metal with coppery and bluish reflections, bear the traces of a natural patina that evokes travel tools and exploration equipment. Robust and sensual at the same time, they are attached with visible screws that embrace their presence without trying to hide, adding an almost industrial dimension to the whole.
Robust military canvas or woven rattan for a lighter aesthetic
The wardrobe is available in two versions, each with its own identity. The version with military canvas doors is directly inspired by the outdoor world and expedition gear: the resistance and roughness of the khaki canvas are here softened and refined to blend with the interior of a living room or bedroom, creating a striking contrast with the warmth of natural wood. The version with woven rattan doors, on the other hand, plays on softness and craftsmanship: the fine and regular texture of the rattan allows a visual lightness to filter through, lightening the imposing silhouette of the furniture, while maintaining a natural dialogue with the wood of the frame.
