The brand also tells the story of this region which was once an industrial center for steel and coal production. Founded in 1921 as a manufacturer of bicycle parts, the family business evolved in 1961 into locally crafted gifts and designer items from copper, brass, pewter and stainless steel. In 2000, blomus chose its current name to position itself as a visionary design company.
