The mother duck and duckling are a nice duo and they are also beautiful design objects on their own. Their heads can be turned, so it is possible to change their expression and posture.

The duck and duckling were designed by Hans Bølling in 1959. His main inspiration was an incident that occurred in a neighborhood in Copenhagen called Fredriksborg. A policeman stopped heavy city traffic when he saw a family of ducks trying to cross the street.
