The original Masters creation by Philippe Stark, was designed in the early 21st and was first released in 2009. This design is really very special and does not really resemble any known design. Or maybe it is. Indeed, the designer was inspired by 3 icons: the Tulip chair, the Eiffel chair and the Series 7 chair. If you take the shape of the back of these 3 chairs and superimpose them, the result will be that of masters. A very creative tribute.

His name, too, is a tribute because, Stark considers the creators of the three chairs mentioned above to be masters in their field, hence the name Masters. Like his other Ghost series creations, Stark has designed this chair and stool to also be lightweight and stackable. This allows small apartments or narrow rooms, to still be able to be equipped with icons.
